The Fenton's spent Christmas in beautiful Maui, so the day after Christmas we flew out to meet them. We had a wonderful time! We haven't been back to Hawaii since before we had Cooper, so it was a much different experience with a kid! But, we had a wonderful time. Oh how I had missed Maui!!

Cooper learned what a Pina Colada was, and would order them when the waiter would come to our table! :)

Our days pretty much consisted of Cooper playing at the "man made beach" at our hotel, because he didn't like the real beach much or the ocean! :)

For Christmas Eve this year we were able to spend it with my family up at the Fenton's cabin. We had a blast sledding, and snowmobiling, opening presents, and having a delicious Christmas Eve dinner.

This video cracks me up. Cooper is swaying back and forth because his helmet is so heavy on his head! :)

In the last month or so Cooper has began having a HUGE vocabulary. It's funny though, how Mike and I have to translate sometimes for people because we know exactly what he is saying because he says things so funny.... For example...

Horse= Hoysee

Car= Voom Voom

Blanket= Na Na

Binky= Dee Dee

Tub or Bath= Bubbles

SuperWhy (a show on TV) = Wa Wa Why

Vanessa (our babysitter)= Ya Ya

If you haven't seen the movie "UP" you won't get this.... but when he sees a squirrel or a picture of a squirrel he says "SQUIRREL!"

If he wants to play or show me something he says "Tum on Momma" and motions me to follow him.

If I'm doing something he wants to do (for example.... mopping the floor) he says "Tooper's turn"

If he wants to be picked up or cuddle with you on the couch he says "Hold you"

At the end of saying prayers in his room at night he starts standing up with his arms still folded and eyes closed so he is ready to bolt down the hall when we say amen because he knows it's time for bed.

We were able to go on the annual Fenton Family Lake Powell trip this year! We had a great time! Cooper wasn't in love with the water, but loved the boat, jet ski's, and the rocks! :)

We went to Gateway the other night to pick up Mike's new iPad, we didn't stop to think about the water fountains that were there, so we didn't pack accordingly. If there is water ANYWHERE, Cooper has to touch it, sit in it, roll in it, drink it (I know... yuck) twirl in it , jump in it..... Naturally it was love at first sight for Cooper, so we let him play in the water in his clothes. He was completely soaked... he loved it!

I'm sorry, that you kept throwing all of your toys down the stairs and then cried about it. I'm sorry you were so mad that I wouldn't give you another Popsicle that you threw your body to the ground and had a tantrum, and then hit your head on the cupboard....over and over again, and then cried because your head hurt. I'm sorry I had to put you in time out for biting mommy because I took away the permanent marker you somehow got a hold of.

ON THE BLOG AGAIN....

All I can say is... WOW! I believe that our last blog entry was Cooper's 1st birthday. He is now almost 22 months! It would be impossible to tell about all of the things we have been doing since my last post, but I will do my best to catch everyone up!

Mike finished school in New York and we are back in Salt Lake! Yay! Mike is busy working, doing all sorts of things! He is full of ideas and business plans and is putting them all into action! I get to stay home with Cooper, which is the best. Cooper is doing all sorts of fun things! I can't believe how big he is getting! He is like a little sponge and he soaks up everything we say (good and bad!) He is saying so many words (mostly that Mike and I can only understand) and he points out everything he sees that he knows how to say! I love it! It's so fun to teach him new

things and new words and see him remember them!

Some things that we have been up to that come to my mind......We were able to leave Cooper in SLC and go to Washington D.C. for a job interview (which ended up not being a good fit for us), but we were able to visit Mike's mission president and his wife who are serving their 3rd mission at the D.C. Temple. We love them so much and we were able to spend a lot of time with them, playing lots of games of Rook!

Mike's brother Mark ran the Boston Marathon, so we went to watch him run with the Fenton family. Mark did awesome and we were so proud of him! I heart Boston by the way... It's beautiful there!

We rafted the Provo River with our friends Kris and Brooke... We started with four ores and ended with one.

We went to Lagoon with my sister's family. Cooper loved it! The rides would scare him before they even started, but once they started to move he would throw his hand up in the air and say "whoo hoo".

We went on a Fenton Family vacation to California!

Our baby boy turned one today! We can't believe how fast this year has gone by! We had a little birthday bash at our house with family and a few friends. Thanks to everyone who made the day so special... and a special thank you to Lauren who helped me decorate cupcakes all night! :)

We took advantage of living so close to Palmyra that we took the 5 hour drive to visit the church sites. We were able to see the Smith family farm, Hill Cummorah, and the Book of Mormon publishing site. The leaves in upstate New York were at their peak and it was gorgeous! We had a great time, and Cooper was awesome during the long car ride! Here are... A LOT of pictures!

We were lucky enough to have Mike's mom come out and visit us for the weekend. It was a nice unexpected surprise when she called and said she would like to come out to see us. She was on a plane two days later! We had a great time showing her our little town of Greenwich, shopping, and eating at yummy restaurants. Cooper sure missed Grandma when she had to go home!

For those of you who may not know, we packed up and moved to Connecticut so that Mike can finish up his MBA at Columbia. We have been waiting to post anything about our recent move until we went private on our blog. (There are a lot of crazy's out there!) We have been here for about a month and we love it here! Mike flew out a week before us to find an apartment/house and then Cooper and I joined him. The flight from Salt Lake to New York did not go as smoothly as I had hoped. So, I was stressed out in the beginning anyway because I wasn’t quite sure how to do the whole airport thing with Cooper, his carseat, and our luggage by myself! It ended up that his carseat wouldn’t fit through the xray/ security thingy so I had to load everything back off of the conveyer belt and go to another area so that someone could manually screen it. It took 25 minutes! So I was then late getting to my flight and they had already started boarding the plane. Passengers with infants are suppose to board first so we don’t cause a hold up. Well, I caused a hold up and if it weren’t for a nice old man I would have busted into tears. He offered to help me with the car seat and my bags while I took Cooper down the isle to our seats. Cooper was screaming. Not just screaming. Blood curdling screaming. Where and when did he learn to do this? And why is he starting now? Everyone around me is giving me “the eye”… You know? The eye… while they are thinking “please don’t be sitting by me with that screaming baby!” I made it to my seat only then to meet the lady next to me who obviously didn’t like children when she made the comment “Oh boy! I hope he doesn’t scream the WHOLE time! But, I guess that’s why I brought my noise canceling head phones!” Gee thanks lady! I’m already stressed and feel horrible, but thanks! Three hours into our four and a half hour flight Cooper started to doze off… only then to fill his diaper. Holy crap! (no pun intended) What the freak else could go wrong!? I had to ask the unpleasant lady next to me to get up so that I could take him to the restroom. She seemed irritated. I was officially scared of her… and I still had to ask her to get up again to sit back down. Well, Cooper didn’t fall asleep until the last hour of our flight. He was fussy and cried A LOT! But we made it. Finally! Mike was there when we arrived and it was good to see him after him being gone for a week. Cooper was ecstatic to see him and totally awake again! :)

The next 5 days were spent living in a hotel. Mike hadn't quite finalized all of the apartment details. it was a nightmare. Cooper wouldn't sleep because his crib was right next to our bed and could see us and he would just cry! So the only way to get him to sleep would be to lay in bed with him for at least 45 minutes and let him play with your hair, your nose, your eyes, your mouth, try to crawl over you, give you kisses, until he eventually crashed! Then we would carefully move him to his crib. In order for him to take naps in the hotel room, Mike and I ALSO had to take naps for the reasons I mentioned earlier. When our family was not taking naps we were busy trying to find a place to live, find furniture to rent, etc. When we would arrive back at the hotel at the end of the day Cooper would scream the new and not so cute blood curdling scream as soon as our room door opened because he knew we were back in "The Room" with no crawling space, hardly any toys, and the horrible crib!!! I'm sure our surrounding hotel neighbors hated us. I was for sure that we would have an angry knock on the door at any moment during Cooper's tyraid! We finally got into a duplex at the end of the week! It was our first night of good sleep and Cooper had his own room! Cooper is starting to adjust to Connecticut time and is getting back into his schedule, but it has been a trip!

I have gotten lost in the car a few times, (tried to go to Target and realized I was going the wrong way on the freeway and ended up somewhere in New York!) driven down one way streets unknowingly (there are a lot of one way streets here) and lost my car in underground parking (there are a lot of those too) Mike has been at the Greenwich hospital twice since we have been here! First for strep and today for an eye infection from his contact! We are getting to know the people of the hospital well! And we have met a few neighbors! But…. The shopping is excellent, the food is great, and the surroundings are gorgeous! I think I’m gonna like it here… For a while…. There’s no place like home!

For those of you who may not know... I am a HUGE fan of Beyonce! For my birthday Mike got me 3 tickets to her concert at the Wynn in Las Vegas. So me, my mom, and my sister made a weekend out of it and headed to Vegas! We had a blast and the concert was amazing! Thanks Mike! And thanks Linds and Mom for a great weekend!

Cooper has been sleeping in the funniest positions lately! Mike and I love going into his room to check on him at night just to see what position he has arranged himself in! It's amazing to me how children can sleep in the most uncomfortable ways!

This is one of my favorite photos... Cooper was only a few months old and one of the toys on his swing fell off on his face and he fell asleep with it there. What is more ironic is the bib he is wearing, it fits the situation perfectly! :)

This is a more recent picture when Cooper was in Daddy's care! :) He must have maneuvered his shoulders out of the straps! Rest assure... they have since then been tightened!

AROUND THE WORLD IN 30 DAYS!

Ok... not really, but it sure feels like we have been around the world! The past month has been quite a whirl wind! The week after getting home from Laguna Beach, we packed up and traveled to New York. Mike had school that week, and we decided that we would go as a family. Honestly, I was nervous how Cooper would handle the long flight! Luckily it was the red eye so he slept the whole way there! Yay! It was fun to be in the city! Oh, how I have missed that city! However, the experience with a baby is beyond different! I have come to the conclusion that New York is a hard place to raise a baby. Sure, it's possible and I know people do it all of the time! Kudos to those people! However, I prefer Salt Lake City! It was tricky!

We were able to spend a little bit of time with Mike between classes, we went to Central Park almost every day, Coop loved to watch the kids play, lots of shopping, we ate at yummy restaurants... Cooper figured out what ice cream was on this trip and had a full on freak out at a a restaurant when we wouldn't give him any... it was embarrassing, I'll try to post the video! We were also able to go to the Museum of Natural History. Slightly disappointed by the way... nothing like the movie "Night at the Museum"! :) Cooper was horrified of the life- sized animals... especially the elephants! Mike was disappointed! Sorry Mike! No African hunts for Cooper any time soon!

The flight home, was not as breezy! Our flight was delayed two hours due to weather so we hung out at the airport with a restless baby who would not sleep due to the noise! I finally got Coop to sleep right before we boarded the red eye flight back home and I was thinking "this is cake! I can travel anywhere!" One hour into the 5 hour flight Cooper is wide awake ready to play! I wasn't worried because I thought he would for sure just fall back asleep! Wrong! He was wide awake and wanted to play and talk and wouldn't take a bottle! Needless to say, he was awake the entire rest of the flight! We felt so bad for all of the people around us trying to sleep! So, if you ever are annoyed by crying babies on a plane, please keep in mind our story, it's even more horrible for the parents! Trust me!

So... Besides having a drunk, naked man try to break into our hotel room... yes, you heard me... rainy weather, the struggles of the city with a baby, and the long flight home, we had an amazing time! Strangely, we didn't take a whole lot of pictures!

Not finished!!! Mike's family headed down to Lake Powell the day after we arrived home from New York. Lake Powell with Mike's family is a blast and we look forward to it every year, so we were bound and determined to go! So, we packed up the next day, yet again, and headed to Powell! Poor Cooper probably thinks we no longer have a home, and he is completely off of his sleeping/ eating schedule, poor little guy! We are happy to be home now and not have anywhere to be!! But, we've had a great time traveling together!

Britney Spears was in good 'ol SLC last night and the girls were stoked and ready to go with our I Love Britney shirts! Although she lip synched the entire concert, and our seats were in the boonies (so high up in fact that we could feel drips of water from the ceiling of Energy Solutions) she put on quite a show and it was very entertaining with acrobats, fire, smoke, "little people", stilt walkers, clowns... it was like watching a circus and a concert all in one! Next year I think we will splurge on better seats!

Some highlights of the night:

1.) The letters on our shirts coming off before the concert and trying to stick them back on with nail polish...

2.) Megan trying to get free Red Bull on the street...

2.) Megan dancing so wildly that she almost bootie knocked me down the stairs during the concert...

3.) The group of gay/ drunk men next to us dancing and singing their hearts our to Britney... Classic!

4.) Water dripping on us from the roof of the arena...

5.) Megan telling the Usher that we were getting wet and hoping that we just might be able to move to closer seats... and then the Usher yelling at her to get back to her seat!

6.) Lauren almost starting a fight with a car full of girls who cut her off in the parking garage and calling them "Not very Christian".... they had a BYU sticker on the bumper...

6.) Getting "loopy" in the car after the concert from being bored and tired after waiting to get out of the parking garage for 40 minutes!!!!

It was a great night out! Thanks girls!

On Tuesday the girls got together for a night of food and.... T-shirt making! Yes, the girls are going to the Britney Spears concert in April and I will blatantly admit that I am DANG excited about it! Even though I think she is a horrible singer, it will be a good time! So... being the "Teeny Boppers" that we are, we decided to make "I Love Britney" t-shirts to wear to the concert. It's funny that in High School we tried so hard to act older than our age, and now that we are older we are acting like we are in High School! :) It took us much longer to make the shirts than we had planned, which led to us working on our shirts until almost 1:00 a.m.!! It took us a while to figure out the process of putting iron on letters on the shirts. It sounds simple but it was quite confusing, when you have to put the letters face down to iron them on and make sure the letters are facing the correct way and lining them up, it was ridiculous! But we conquered and are now so good at it that we think we might go into the t-shirt making business! We are going to look like the biggest dorks! Next.... Rock Band t-shirts!!??

THE BLESSING OF COOPER...

We finally blessed our beautiful baby boy! We have been trying to bless him for a few months now, but with Mike being gone some weekends, Coop getting RSV, Ward Conference, and other obligations, we have not been able to find a day to do it! But, Cooper was finally given a name and a blessing on Sunday! If we had waited much longer, Cooper would have been able to crawl up to the pulpit and say "Amen"! We were lucky to have our family and friends be able to join us on such a special day! And for that, Cooper would like to say...

1. He can fix any computer problem you may have. He is my Mac pro!

2. He is very politically and economically savvy.

3. He knows the answer to everything. Seriously, ask him about stocks, geography, history, global warming, the economy... he'll give you an educated answer.

4. He has an inner drive to use his talents and abilities to influence others for the good.

5. His favorite movie is Braveheart and he will mouth the words to the entire movie.

6. He is a pleaser through and through, which makes it extremely easy to be married to this man.

7. He has so many ideas and acts upon them.

8. He makes me laugh every day… Even when I’m upset.

9. He thinks he is the best singer and dancer…. EVER! He makes up his own words to songs and makes up his own crazy dance moves. Put together it is quite an event!

10. He secretly loves to play with children games and toys. I can’t wait to see him play with Cooper when he is old enough.

11. He eats whatever I make him and he acts like it's the best thing he's ever tasted.

12. On Sunday’s he snacks all day!

13. He can get along with anyone. He genuinely likes people and they genuinely like him.

14. He loves to read books about hedge funds, stocks, etc. Books that I wouldn't dare pick up. Then he sums them up and tells me about all the good parts.

15. He LOVES peanut M&M’s. He will eat an entire large Costco bag in a week. He will deny it and say that I ate them too, but I don’t eat peanut M&M’s.

15. He would never admit it, but he loves a good chick flick.

16. He was quite the ladies' man in high school and loves reminding me of it. He especially takes pride in the fact that I was the one who "chased him”.

17. He is a humble guy, and always reminds me to be a humble girl.

18. He is a very hands on dad and his boy A-D-O-R-E-S him.

19. He has a strong testimony and love for the gospel.

2o. His gifts that he gives me on holidays are so random. Example: Egg McMuffin maker for Valentines! :)

21. He writes me cute love notes.

22. He gets super excited and happy when he tells stories about his mission and the people he taught.

23. When he laughs really hard he gets the hiccups.

24. He loves to help his family and friends. There is absolutely nothing he wouldn’t do for them.

25. He loves to mentor. He loves helping people prep for church talks, help his siblings with schoolwork, etc., and he'll bend over backwards to help you succeed.

26. He gets along with my family and friends.

27. He is patient.

28. He loves to shop and accessorize and is rather good at it! However, he thinks it is ok to wear black shoes with a brown belt... We are still working on this.

29. He LOVES to have his back scratched and gets pouty when I don’t do it.

30. He has an amazing mind. He can watch Sports Center once and memorize the stats. He is also very book-smart and is an amazing student.

Overall, Mike is an incredible guy and I feel so blessed to have him in my life. I love you baby!

Cooper's new "thing" is trying to eat his fists! It is my favorite! Unfortunately, he gets so aggressive about it, that I have had to resort to putting mittens on his hands because he has been scratching his face and lips (regardless of how short I cut his nails!) He gets a real serious look on his face like he is concentrating so hard when he does it! I love it!

HAPPY AFTER THE WIN.....

Mike came home this weekend after being gone for two weeks! Cooper and I were suppose to go to New York over Valentine's weekend with Mike's family, but we both got sick, so we ended up staying home. Needless to say, Cooper and I were very excited to see Mike after being away from him for two whole weeks! Mike's mom and sister watched Cooper on Thursday night so that Mike and I could go to the Jazz/ Celtics game with my sister Lindsay and her husband Rick. We thought for sure that the Celtics were going to blow us out after being down almost the entire first half, but the Jazz came back the last quarter and we won 85-90. It ended up being a great game! I wouldn't have minded if the Jazz had lost, but we had the most ANNOYING Celtics fans in front of us that it made me want the Jazz to win, just to shut them up!!!!

Super Bowl

So Cooper was really excited for the Super Bowl and wanted me to dress him up for the big game. So I put on his favorite outfit and got settled down awaiting kickoff. Then he realized that even though the game is played in Miami it doesn't necessarily mean that the Dolphins will be playing. He was a little upset that they didn't make it through the first round of playoffs. I guess I need to educate him on how the whole NFL Super Bowl qualification process works, pretty important stuff for a three month old baby. As long as I teach him the necessities of life first, like who William Wallace is, how to spot a nice four point two hundred yards out, how to cheat off the cute girls in school (thats how Shelb and I met), and how pro football works I figure the rest will follow like walking and talking and all that other overrated stuff.

Well, if some of you didn't know, Mike was accepted to a program at Columbia University in New York. It has been a hard decision to make, but Cooper and I are going to stay here in Salt Lake while Mike heads out to conquer the big city. We also bought a house here in Salt Lake (yay!) so Cooper and I are going to set up home. We figured that it is so cold in New York right now that it would be hard for Cooper and that I might get a little bit of cabin fever being in a tiny apartment for so long by myself (Mike's school schedule is loaded and he will be gone all day). So Mike and I will travel back and forth on weekends to see each other and when it gets a little warmer and we get more settled at our new home Cooper and I will make the big move to New York with him.

Mike, we are so proud of you! It's going to be a tough couple of months, but we'll make it through!

So... funny thing happened the other morning. Cooper woke up around 7:00 a.m. so Mike and I brought him into our bed to feed him. After he was done eating I was burping him on my shoulder and Mike was sitting next to me with his head level to Cooper's and Mike was cooing at him (Cooper now smiles a little bit and coo's back to you). They were exchanging coo's when all of a sudden Cooper projectile vomited right in Mike's face! In Mike's eyes, hair, mouth, nose, it was everywhere! Cooper just stared at Mike and smiled! I wish I had a picture!

Happy Birthday Lauren! This weekend we celebrated our friend Lauren's birthday by going to dinner at Ruby River's, one of her favorite restaurants... which is funny because she is a vegetarian and it's a steak house! :) She loves the coconut shrimp! So... quite a few people have been commenting on the pink blankets that Coop is frequently wrapped up in. If you are not aware, my sister has two darling little girls and when I am at her house and Cooper has spit ups and such, sometimes I have to borrow her "girly" bibs and blankets! There is no need for concern people! Just wanted to clear that up! :)

Cooper is 6 weeks old today! We can't believe how fast time is flying by and how much he changes everyday! He has his 6 week doctor's appointment on Friday and it will be interesting to see how much he weighs... because he has put on the weight! His cheeks keep getting chubbier and chubbier. However, none of the weight is going to his chicken legs! Coop's sleeping habits are getting better, Mike and I are managing to get three hours in between each feeding now and he's awake a lot more during the day! We have been able to go and do quite a few things with him.... We are those parents that you see at movies and football games and you think "What the heck are they thinking bringing a baby to this?" (Yes, we took Cooper to the Cottonwood championship game up at Rice Eccles when he was only two weeks! And yes we went to see James Bond) But, he did really well at both events! :) We've gone shopping and to dinner... it's different with a baby, but more fun! It's taken me these past 6 weeks to feel somewhat normal again since Coop's been born, tired, but I'm starting to actually shower and be ready for the day before 2:00 p.m.! I was so excited to get rid of all of my maternity clothes, but I realized that there was absolutely no way that my regular jeans would fit yet, even after trying every possible way to squeeze into them (very depressing!) So, I had to put on my maternity jeans right back on! One of these days hopefully I will be back into my regular jeans! Oh, how I miss them! Anyways, here are a few new pictures of our little man!

Here are some new pictures of our little man! Little Cooper is doing well! We can't believe that it has already been a week since he joined our world! It has been a little crazy! He was a bit Jaundice when we brought him home so we were making frequent trips to the hospital this week to get lab work done. Luckily, his levels went down, and it is no longer a concern! Needless to say, we did not get much sleep the first few nights we brought him home, so we are a bit sleep deprived and we have been trying to catch up on our sleep, but he has started to sleep a little bit better during the night! Mike and I like to lay him in bed with us in the early hours of morning and we just stare at him! It has been so much fun! Mike is very protective and makes everyone wash and disinfect their hands before they hold him. He has already been teaching Coop about football and he loves to lay with him on the couch and watch all the football games! Even though the whole delivery process was a bit tough, as you may know from Mike's dramatic blog! It was so worth it, and I'd do it again in a second! We would like to thank all of our friends and family for all of their love and support during this wonderful, yet overwhelming transition in our lives! We love you all!

THE COMING OF COOPER

So he is finally here, but not without some struggle! So I will explain the drama that unfolded the best I can but Shelby tells it better I get too emotional. But here I go: We went to the Hospital around 10:00 PM on Sunday, Shelb was having contractions about five minutes apart, so we phoned the nurse and she said to come in to get checked out. So when we get there Shelb is in some pretty heavy pain, and she has a pretty high pain tolerance so it must have been hurting her something fierce. Anyways the nurse, who was way slow, was like "oh, I don't think your in labor, your contractions are ONLY THREE FRICKEN MINUTES APART, and YOUR ONLY DILATED TO A TWO." Dude, I'm not a doctor, OK well sometimes I think I am, but if someone tells your wife that, you want to punch her in her face. So she gives Shelby some morphine and sends us home saying, "We'll see you in a couple days! Yeah right lady try two hours. Needless to say we get home and Shelb tries to lay down and sleep it off like the numb nut nurse told her to. After an hour and a half of her contractions getting worse and me feeling like I should have done something about the nurse, we go back to the hospital. Get this, the second we walk in, queen of the stupids say's, " Back Already?" Meanwhile Shelby is doubled over in pain. I want to chuck her through the second story window hoping she gets ran over by an ambulance going 50!

They check us in and a different nurse comes to check on Shelb. She's like, "holy crap girl, your in labor! and I'm like, "I could have told you that two hours ago, you want me to deliver the baby too?" Shelb is dilated to a five and her contractions are a minute apart and very constant, she is also 100% effaced, poor Cooper is practically looking at me. Well to get to the tough part, Shelb is in labor till 7:30 then they give her an epidural, then the doctor tells her to start pushing at 1:00 PM. Poor Cooper and Shelb are giving it there all but the Coopinator gets stuck behind the pelvic bone. He is stuck for three hours, Shelb did such an awesome job but she was drained and falling asleep between contractions. The doctor started to get pretty worried that Coop wasn't coming and that started to freak me out. I tried to look cool but I am a bad liar and I could tell Shelb was getting worried too. So finally the doctor had to use forceps to get him. He was pretty dinged up, his head had a few bumps and cuts but all in all we were really lucky. OK so I am done being mad cause just looking at the little guy makes me cry. It is so awesome yet really overwhelming. We appreciate all your support and love. Here are some pictures of our little man. Oh yeah, the important stuff, he weighed 7 pounds and 9 ounces. 20 inches long. He has Shelbs hair and nose, and he has my huge toes! Enjoy...

UNDER PRESSURE....

Wow, I have been given a lot of crap from people for not blogging! After Mike's last football blog, I felt like I was under a lot pressure! So, I've decided that I will fill everyone in on what is going on in the Fenton family. Well, we sold our house in Herriman... Yay! But, it sold quicker than we thought it would with the market being so unstable, so we are currently living in Mike's parents old house (his parents recently moved into a new house), so it worked out perfect for us, and we feel very blessed that we had somewhere to go! Mike is staying busy with work and school, and if any of you know Mike very well, he is always coming up with new business ideas and putting them into action, so he has much going on! He is a serial entrepreneur! Although, he can drive me crazy sometimes, I feel blessed that he is so motivated! I just finished my last day this week working for an interior designer and now I am just preparing for baby Cooper to come! Which... by the way could not come soon enough! I am SO uncomfortable! I no longer get a good nights rest, even though I am exhausted, and he loves to hang out in my ribs and have a hay-day kicking.... it's lovely! Also, did I mention that my feet are so swollen I can barely walk? Before I became pregnant I told myself that I was going to dress so cute and not "let myself go" when I got pregnant... Can I just say, the reason you don't see many cute pregnant women is because you just stop caring! You feel like crap and you just don't care! Poor Mike! I just want to take a moment to thank my husband for being such a wonderful person! I feel so blessed to have him in my life. He is the most patient, kind, giving, unselfish, and forgiving person I have ever met. It takes a special person to put up with me and my crazy ways... which have even become crazier during this pregnancy! I love you Mike!

THE WASHED OUT FOOTBALLERS

So the boys and I decided that we weren't seeing enough of each other and joined a flag football league. We have only played three games but already it is easy to see none of us have changed that much since our high school playing days. Here is a little recap of what has transpired. Kasteller got suspended for fighting during the first game. Kofoed is still very fast and scores 90% of our touchdowns. Levi is massive, he intimidates everyone but little do they know he is a giant teddy bear. Mark gets mad that I don't pass him the ball enough and reminds me that he is a better athlete than I am, he is right. I told everyone the wrong time and Rick and Andrew quickly had to remind me, I guess I haven't changed much either. Shelby is the team mom and is the hottest one around. I am so lucky to have married such a wonderful girl.

Hello! Welcome to our blog! Mike and I are not very "Blog savvy" so please bare with us as we learn to navigate, post, and do all of the other things that go along with blogging! :) We are hoping that our blog will keep us well connected to our friends and family. Also, with the baby coming in November we hope to document milestones in his life. We hope you check in with us once in a while to see what is going on. When the baby comes it will probably be much more interesting to read, rather than it just being about Mike and I!
